Green & Teal Room
Our two mixed rooms are filled with natural and household resources both inside and out, sparking the children’s imagination, and allowing them to develop in a natural homely environment. They are given real food to play with in our home corner, they plant seeds and tend to them in our garden, and they can play dress up with our range of versatile hats and garments to become whichever character they choose to be. Our curiosity based learning approach gives our children the flexibility to learn in the way they thrive, and allows them grow to be the best versions of themselves.
We regularly take our children on walks in the village to the woods, the park, and to visit the local wildlife. We ensure they have full access to our beautifully designed garden to encourage play and physical development including climbing logs, a large sandpit, and a circular path where they can enjoy our bikes and scooters.
The children sit together for their nutritious and tasty meals, and they take part in our organised activities such as football where an external trainer comes to teach introductory football skills once a week. Key health and self-care skills, communication and listening abilities are developed throughout their time in this room, and we focus on a positive growth mindset, celebrating achievements along the way. We spend lots of time reading stories, singing together and playing games, all of which encourage social skills, build relationships and above all we have a lot of fun!
Our expert team build strong relationships with the children, and provide them with personalised, stimulating activities to nurture their development, teach them not only about the fascinating world around them, but also start those all important learning steps to ensure the children are prepared to start their school journey.

My son absolutely loves coming to nursery and the staff always make us feel welcome as part of our extended family and are always there above and beyond when we need that extra support.
